Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Allocate tasks to assigned staff in order to ensure appropriate vehicles are available for all company transportation demands.

Meet with the airline representative in relation to aircraft uplifts, staff movements, planned stores logistics and reasonable ad hoc requests.

Responsible for giving clear instructions regarding the tasks to be performed by Team Members with deadlines and quality standards.

Liaise regularly with sections like Administration, Flight preparations, Warewash, Equipment, Transportation, Airside Logistics to ensure proper communication at all times with regard to catering uplift and special services.

Ensure that assigned staff are professionally supervised, trained, motivated and counseled to achieve objectives agreed upon with them to the satisfactory levels of performance, providing necessary guidance whenever required.

Conduct spot-checks in order to ensure that operations are carried on as per the airline standards on schedule.

Communicate with other departments and Airline Representatives to ensure that service provided is as per laid down standards.

Comply with Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities Standards.

Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

Graduate Degree or Diploma holder in any discipline

High standards of verbal and written communication in English
-
Extensive experience in a supervisory role in an airport catering services environment

Demonstrated ability to manage staff
-
Ability to resolve customer complaints and anticipate emerging customer needs to continually improve service standards
-
A professional manner with the ability to work under pressure to meet targets and achieve results
-
Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
-
Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others
