Job Purpose: We are looking for a Junior Accountant Cum Cashier who will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the finance department by executing daily tasks with a strong attention to detail. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem solving to ensure success. Main Accountabilities: The Assists in management of day-to-day accounting operationsProcessing receipts & Cash Application Processing Vendor PaymentsFollow up on PaymentsSending out invoices to the customersAssists in performing general ledger accounting functions as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of ensuring that department functions are completed in an accurate and timely mannerAccounting for Fixed Assets & DepreciationExpense Booking, Provision & AccrualsAccounting for LeasesCash and Bank entries and reconciliationPrepare inter-company reconciliationAssisting with month-end, quarter-end and year-end tasksFiling and Records RetentionHandle cash transactions with customers & cash collection, maintaining records, and safeguarding, depositing of money etcEnsure management of daily cash accountsJob specification: Bachelor’s or Higher Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance0-2 years relevant work experience as a junior accountant & cashier.Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environmentTeam player
