To work with the Head of Planning in each Landmark Concept to implement planning best practice with a focus on the transformation in the following key areas;
Pre-season planning – to ensure a robust and standard pre-season planning that aligns to the defined group standards is embedded in each concept
To simplify and streamline the planning hierarchy in each concept
To help the existing team optimise the use of the Oracle planning tools already implemented (Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment Planning)
In-season planning – Optimising the use of the seasonal WSSI and developing trading skills in the planning teams

– Implement stock management processes and systems use to ensure service levels are maximised, terminal stock levels are minimised and stock policy is aligned to business objectives.

– Working with the central Demand Planning team to ensure correct governance in implementation.

– Managing change in each concept through the correct levels of;
Stakeholder management of the Buying function
Training and development of existing teams
Communication
Leading the teams through the change process
Liaison with IT and the central project team

Skills

10 years extensive experience in product/range and stock merchandise planning in both fashion and/or home
Experience in merchandising across multiple countries, products, companies and channels.
Experience in developing and implementing merchandising systems and processes. This should be with leading planning systems (Oracle, TXT, SAP, Arthur etc.)
Has been through at least one major planning transformation.
Good knowledge of project management governance
The ability to lead, motivate, train and develop members of the team.
Success in developing close working relationships with colleagues across the business.
High level analytical and mathematical ability.
Good computer skills, especially in using spreadsheets.
