Reporter

The reporter’s main role is to write news and features for online and print. The reporter will play a vital role generating the backbone of content for our readers, subbing pages and producing newsletters.

The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker, have some experience in news journalism, and demonstrate a natural talent for writing. The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate creativity, accuracy and sound commercial/political awareness.

We are looking for someone hardworking and ambitious, with an ability to communicate a wide range of business and technical information in an accessible and engaging format, an eye for detail and a relentless ability to hit deadlines.

The reporter will be expected to arrange and conduct face-to-face interviews with key industry figures, and to represent the Construction Week brand at press conferences and other events.

The candidate should have a degree-level education from a reputable university. Appropriate journalism qualifications are also desirable.

Regional travel will be required, so adaptability, patience and an open-minded approach to other cultures are essential. The role is permanent, full-time and based in the tax-free coastal city of Dubai.
