- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Definition of project team for each project, defining roles, responsibilities, and deliverables
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Coordinate and manage internal resources and/or third parties vendors for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring deliverable are available on time
- Manage the execution of the project with an eye on quality
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Regularly report on project progress, escalating issues to management as necessary
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Close projects with appropriate closure processes
- Contribute to continued improvement in the PMO
Qualification
- Preferably in the fields of computer science and/or engineering
Experience
- >5 years proven working experience in project management in the mobile/web technology sector
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Experience working with Telcos is a plus
- Experience working in a SaaS company is a plus
Skills
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Working knowledge of agile methodology is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- Working knowledge of issue tracking tools (eg JIRA) is a plus
Certification
- PMI or equivalent certification is a plus
Languages
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic
- Other languages is a plus
